For Kids on the Go

E S Foods offers products for today's "grab 'n go" kids:
  • Breakfast BREAKS and Meal BREAKS – complete shelf-stable kits with utensils and napkins for clean-up.

Classroom Breakfast / Alternate Site Feeding

In today's busy schools, the cafeteria is not the only place to serve children meals in school – especially when it comes to serving breakfast. But obstacles arise when it comes to issues such as time, staff, and clean-up. What to do? Have you considered alternate site feeding options? Alternate site feeding is any meal that takes place outside the traditional school cafeteria – in other words, going "off the line."

Breakfast in the Classroom . . . or On the Bus

E S Foods are the "grab 'n go" experts. Meals like Breakfast BREAKS can easily be served in the classroom at the beginning of the day or on the bus on the way to school. These meals require no refrigeration and provide a nutritious, federally reimbursable meal. Research shows that kids who eat breakfast do better in school. And, breakfast programs can also be profitable to schools!

Second Chance Breakfast

If the kids can't come to the cafeteria, bring the cafeteria to them. Food carts allow convenient breakfast delivery between periods, and our breakfasts require no special equipment to maintain temperature.

After-School Meals

If your school offers enrichment programs after school – art, music, clubs, etc...consider after school meals (snacks or supper). Did you know that federal funding is available for providing nutritious meals for these programs? Recently, in collaboration with the Baltimore City Public Schools, E S Foods provided 60 days of complimentary meals to OrchKids, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra's after-school music program, in order to jumpstart their program and raise awareness of the availability of these no-cost programs. Summer Feeding

Just because it is summer school doesn't mean the school meals should stop. Unfortunately, many children in our nation are not receiving meals during the summer. Once the schools end for summer break, so do the meals. Like the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program, federal funding is available to provide students with meals in the summer.
