Last month I shared with you the cover story from Time magazine that honored our heroes on the front lines during this pandemic, and among them was middle school cafeteria worker Yolanda Fisher from Dallas. She is out there every day serving meals to kids. As a follow-up, I also want to share with you her inspiring story that was featured on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt on May 8.

During this unprecedented COVID-10 pandemic, our nation’s school nutrition experts have answered the call to provide healthy meals to hungry children through emergency feeding programs. . . . The School Nutrition Foundation (SNF) has launched a GoFundMe campaign to provide grants to school districts across the country so more kids can be fed.
