Meet Chef Clayton!
September 27, 2022

Perhaps you met our new Executive Chef Clayton at our booth or at his cooking demonstration at ANC this summer or possibly at one of the regional state shows.  He’s been quite busy travelling the country! I want to introduce you to one of our newest members of the E S Foods team. . .

We were excited to see our Pinwheels make the news this week as Georgia’s largest school district, Gwinnett County Public Schools, has added them to its menu for this coming school year.  In the story “Gwinnett County’s school menu seeks to appeal to district’s global population,” the local CBS affiliate highlighted how school foodservice is giving students the variety of foods they are asking for.

July 10-12 for ANC is fast-approaching! We are so excited to be launching SEVERAL NEW PRODUCTS at ANC this year, including a line of plant-based vegan options. Stop by our booth (#655) to sample our fare and meet Chef Clayton, our new Executive Chef who has some great tips on how to put a creative spin on menu items that will please even the pickiest of palates!

As the regular school year comes to a close, it’s that time again to remind you of the perennial adage, “Childhood hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation.” Now, more than ever, summer feeding is crucial to the health of America’s school children. . . .We can supply complete, nutritious meals, approved by the state, to ensure your reimbursement, as well as help you develop the menu cycle to submit to the state.

To encourage more families to take advantage of the healthy choices available with school breakfast, school districts across the country will celebrate National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) during March 7-11, 2022. This year’s theme is “Take Off with School Breakfast,” reminding the entire school community that school breakfast provides a healthy and energizing start to the day for students.
