Does your school district offer a School Breakfast program? Recent data shows that only half of the children who eat school lunch also get their breakfast at school. USDA Food and Nutrition Service has opened applications for the Fiscal Year 2023 School Breakfast Expansion Grants, which will provide schools with funds to prepare nutritious, appealing breakfasts.
To encourage more families to take advantage of the healthy choices available with school breakfast, schools across the country will celebrate National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) during March 6-10, 2023
