FRAC Report: School Breakfast Participation is Key to Combat Hunger Through Pandemic

In a news release issued this week by the Food Research and Action Center (FRAC), the organization says that its annual School Breakfast Scorecard report underscores school breakfast participation as critical in combatting childhood hunger and learning loss caused by COVID-19.
This year’s theme for National School Breakfast Week, March 2-6, 2020, is “Out of This World” to encourage families to choose breakfast at school. . . .The USDA School Breakfast Program currently serves more than 14 million students every day.
