Food for thought on what’s trending in school meal programs across the country

Last month I shared with you the cover story from Time magazine that honored our heroes on the front lines during this pandemic, and among them was middle school cafeteria worker Yolanda Fisher from Dallas. She is out there every day serving meals to kids. As a follow-up, I also want to share with you her inspiring story that was featured on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt on May 8.
